ABOUT KENZIE
As a traveling photographer based in Central Arkansas and Tennessee, I've honed my craft through a unique blend of experiences. My journey in photography began during my upbringing in the entertainment industry, where I developed a keen eye for capturing meaningful moments both behind and in front of the camera. Recently, I celebrated a personal milestone by getting married to my best friend, Cody. This joyous occasion has further inspired my work in preserving life's precious memories. My approach is deeply rooted in narrative, always asking myself, "What story will these images tell decades from now?" I believe photographs are more than mere snapshots; they are powerful vehicles for sharing our experiences with future generations. Whether I'm photographing a wedding or taking senior photos, I strive to infuse each image with emotion and meaning, ensuring that every photograph tells a compelling story.
My work is deeply rooted in my background as an actor, a journey that shaped me over more than a decade. Those years taught me to see the world through a lens of storytelling, emotion, and connection, which now form the foundation of my creative process. I draw inspiration from the magic of cinema, the beauty of poetry, timeless love stories, and the soul-stirring power of a great record. These influences guide me as I approach photography, infusing every session with a sense of artistry and meaning.
One of the most common things I hear from clients is, "I'm not photogenic," or, "I feel so awkward in front of a camera." And every time, I smile, because I know the truth: you don’t need to be anything other than yourself. The moments that matter most are the ones where you're just you – raw, unfiltered, and genuine. My job isn’t to mold you into some perfect pose or create a version of you that feels unnatural. Instead, I aim to craft an environment where you feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
Of course, I’ll offer gentle guidance, a few tips, and the occasional adjustment to make sure everything feels just right. But my real focus is on capturing the essence of the moment – the way you laugh when you’re caught off guard, the quiet tenderness in a stolen glance, the joy that lights up your face when you’re fully present. These are the moments that tell your story, the ones that matter long after the day is over.

Typically, you can expect to receive your proof gallery within two weeks. Depending on the package you selected, you'll choose the number of images included in your package. Once your selections are made, your final gallery will be delivered shortly thereafter.
